Our Nutritionists
Hannah Epstein MS, CN, Certified Nutritionist
I strive to provide a wealth of holistic nutrition knowledge to my clients every day. In Maple Leaf Nutrition, I help my clients make practical and sustainable changes that work for them by not just offering a plan, but by educating and enlivening a healthy lifestyle. Each client leaves with a manageable nutrition plan in hand.
For over ten years, I’ve been teaching nutrition seminars and classes, as well as offering individual consultations. In that time I’ve specialized in detoxification, digestive health, autoimmune and weight loss.
I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Holistic Nutrition from Bastyr University and my Masters of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. Drawing on the foundation of my Bastyr and Bridgeport education, it’s my mission to equip and inspire you with the nutrition knowledge you need to feel and look your best.
More about Hannah
A native of the Pacific Northwest, you’ll find me spending as much time as I can outdoors, gardening, water-skiing, snowboarding and playing at the park with my sons. When I’m indoors, I love to cook and host dinner parties. My home is Seattle, with my husband, two young boys and our black lab.
Hannah’s Story
I grew up with many digestive ailments; I was diagnosed at a very young age with IBS, eczema and chronic sinus infections. And I was given the typical medical treatments by my doctor, which seemed to never work long term.
Then I found healing through foods, supplements and herbs, and turned around my life!
I then found I could live my life without these troubling ailments coming back over and over again. I did it with more natural methods that built up my body instead of covering up the symptoms temporarily, as my previous treatments had.
Now I bring that same insight and approach to my patients every day, educating them to take hold of their own health with sustainable changes anyone can make. As a result, they would address the root problems triggering their conditions and make sustainable changes like I had in my own life.
And with a strong family history of cancer, I have a big passion for helping patients during and after cancer treatment with their nutrition.
Nutritional Health Philosophy
“Our mission at Maple Leaf Nutrition is to equip and motivate individuals with the nutrition knowledge they need to feel their absolute best.”
Nicole Ralston MS, CN, Certified Nutritionist
My journey into nutrition really began in my early twenties when I was suffering from chronic fatigue, joint pain, digestive issues, and skin problems that all stemmed from chronic stress. This launched my path for alternative approaches to health and wellness and led me on a mission to help others achieve their wellness goals. Through elimination diets, herbal supplements, and lifestyle changes, I was able to eliminate my symptoms without the help of medication.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2012 from IADT, and then I went on to become a full-time caregiver to my husband who sustained a spinal cord injury after an IED attack while serving his second tour in Iraq. After dealing with many of my husband’s health issues, it ignited my desire to go back to school for Nutrition. I started taking nutrition courses at Cascadia Community College before starting Grad school at the University of Bridgeport. I graduated in 2024 from the University of Bridgeport with my Master’s in Clinical Nutrition and received my certification from the Washington State Department of Health in 2025.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, going for walks, gardening, yoga, cheering my kids on at their sporting events, and our family game nights.
